Testing Methodology

We test one defined task at a time on Windows 11 and document the starting state.

Environment

Guides are reviewed with a clean Windows 11 virtual machine snapshot where practical. Edition, build, elevation state, WinUtil source, and relevant settings are recorded before a test.

Procedure

We create a recovery point or snapshot, apply only the option under review, restart when required, and verify the result in Windows rather than relying only on the application interface.

Limits

Virtual-machine results cannot represent every driver, security product, policy, or hardware configuration. We qualify conclusions and link to primary sources.
